Zen and Paw 5K in Onalaska raises money for Coulee Region Humane Society
Inaugural event held in Onalaska.
ONALASKA, Wis. (WKBT) — Two and four-legged walkers are getting active for a good cause.
The inaugural ‘Zen and Paw’ 5K run walk took place Saturday in Onalaska.
Organizers created the event to help people get active and enjoy spending time outdoors.
Plus, the money raised went to a good cause.
“The point of the race is to really just let people walk it, or run it, to raise funds for the humane society, and just do something fun in the summer,” said Zen & Pow Studio owner Stephanie Ross.
Awards were handed out for people and their dogs following the run walk.
