YMCA is extending Phase 1 of reopen plan
Some services at The "Y" will be modified as well
LA CROSSE, Wis (WKBT) – There was a rush for many businesses to open after the lockdown. But now, some are looking to extend their reopening phases due an increase in local coronavirus cases.
The YMCA said it will extend and modify its phase one re-opening plan.
Starting Monday, the ‘Y’ says building hours will be extended to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. That way people can reserve a full 60-minute workout slot at 7 p.m.
30-minute time slots for lap lane times will be available for reservation and group water exercise classes will be added at both branches, with reservations only.
Children 14 and older are allowed to make a reservation without a parent or guardian present.
And the Y Child Watch program will be temporarily closed.
