Xcel crews ready ahead of storms in Wisconsin, Minnesota
Outages can be reported on the website
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Ahead of potentially severe storms, Xcel Energy crews are preparing to help if needed.
Tuesday’s storms could bring lightning, strong winds and hail.
There is the possibility of isolated tornadoes as well.
The crews would be dispatched to help restore power if there are outages.
When the power goes down, you can help those in charge of getting the lights back on.
“Don’t come up to them, let them do their work. That’d be one big thing. The other big thing customers can do is if they have an outage is to report it,” said Xcel Energy community service manager Mike Herro.
Outages can be reported to Xcel through their website or by calling their automated phone system at 1 (800) 895-1999.
