Worker dies at Tomah metal manufacturer
TOMAH (WKBT) — A 70-year-old man died Friday in a “work-related injury” at a metal manufacturer in Tomah, according to the Tomah Police Department.
Police along with the Tomah Area Ambulance Service were called at about 7:45 a.m. to General Stamping and Metal Works at 328 Cardinal Ave. in Tomah for a work-related employee injury, according to the department’s Facebook page.
The employee was severely injured and died on scene. The Monroe County Medical Examiner also assisted at the scene and the Juneau County Sheriff’s Office helped notify family members.
The man’s name has not yet been released.
