With Wisconsin State Fair right around corner — in August — ticket deals spring forth
Admission tickets cut from regular price of $17 to $12 through June 30
WEST ALLIS, Wis. (WKBT) — April showers are barely over, and May’s flowers have just begun, but Wisconsin State Fair officials already are promoting deals and discounts for the Aug. 4-14 gathering in the Milwaukee suburb of West Allis.
Early bird tickets, at $12 apiece, compared to the regular admission of $17 for adults, are on sale through June 30, according to a fair news release Monday. The tickets are available online at the fair website, at the fair ticket office and participating stores such as Festival Foods, Sentry Foods, Metcalfe’s Markets and Trig’s stores, as well as Bank Five Nine.
Thrill-seeking fairgoers can save 30 percent compared to individually purchased tickets with $35 SpinCity 50 Ride & Game Tickets vouchers. The vouchers are available online and at the State Fair Ticket Office available through July 29
Also available now is the State Fair Bargain Book, which goes for $5 and includes more than 80 offers and nearly $300 worth of savings. The book features coupons from fair partners and vendors for rides, games, food, beverages, gadgets, souvenirs and more. Discounted bargain book vouchers offer a $1 savings off the price during the fair. They are available through July 29.
A sweet deal is the $22 Cream Puff 6-Pack voucher, meaning a $3 savings off of individually purchased cream puffs. The cream puffs, a State Fair staple since 1924, are the most popular item among patrons, who wolf down an average of 400,000 a year. The vouchers can be redeemed during the fair at the Original Cream Puff Pavilion or Cream Puff Express. The six-packs are available through July 29.
Online tickets and vouchers can be purchased via mail-order or print-at-home options. Service fees apply.
