Wisconsin unemployment rates increase statewide for month of April
MADISON, Wis. (WKBT)-Across Wisconsin’s 12 metro areas, unemployment rates for April range from 11.8 percent in Madison to 17.0 percent in Janesville-Beloit, according to the Department of Workforce Development.
La Crosse-Onalaska’s unemployment rate has increased to 12.1, nearly 10 percent points higher than the rate last April.
The numbers are preliminary, and are not seasonally adjusted.
