Wisconsin Representatives Kind, Tiffany comment on impeachment of President Trump
Ten Republican house members nationally voted with Democrats to impeach President Trump
WASHINGTON, D.C. (WKBT) – President Trump has been impeached a second time.
Wisconsin Representative Ron Kind shared his thoughts ahead of this afternoon’s vote.
“I believe that the President still presents a clear and present danger to the safety of our country. Not just based on the conduct of last week that led to that mob and the insurrection on our nation’s capitol. But even his comments yesterday, where he claimed that all of his remarks from last week were entirely appropriate,” said. Rep. Ron Kind.
Wisconsin Representative Tom Tiffany, who opposes impeaching President Trump said during the house debate that impeachment would quote “rub salt in the wounds for millions of Americans.”
From Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa, all Democrats gave their vote for impeachment with all area Republicans voting against impeachment.
Nationally, ten house Republicans voted for impeachment.
