Wisconsin QB Graham Mertz tested positive for COVID-19
MADISON, Wis. (WKBT)–According to Jeff Potrykus of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, quarterback Graham Mertz has tested positive for COVID-19.
Big Ten Protocols dictate that players who test positive for a COVID-19 test will have to go through a second test to confirm the result. The results of that second tests are unknown.
Pending on the results on the second test, Mertz could either be ready to play next weekend against Nebraska if the test is a false positive, or sit out for 21 days.
