Wisconsin Primaries includes one La Crosse district, State Superintendent

Polling locations open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The Spring Elections are nearly here, but do you know who is on the ballot?

The 2017 Wisconsin Spring primary is Tuesday. On every ballot across the state will be the race for State Superintendent of Public Instruction.

In the city of La Crosse, the seventh district will have a primary for city council, and the town of Campbell has a primary for Town Supervisor.

Clerks say the February primaries are just as important as the general elections.

“Some voters say ‘I’ll just wait till April. That’s when the final candidates are in, and then that winner actually wins,’ but these candidates have to actually get to the April ballots, so if you’re not going out and voting for your candidate, you may not see their name on the April ballots,” said La Crosse County Clerk Ginny Dankmeyer.
Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. As long as you are in line by 8 Tuesday evening, you will get a chance to vote.
