Wisconsin poll workers needed for upcoming election

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Wisconsin is calling on residents willing to serve as poll workers for the April 7th election.

The state has about 30,000 poll workers., many are in their 60’s and 70’s.

Due to the health concerns related to COVID-19, some older workers may not be able to serve.

So finding people to replace them is critical.

Poll workers in La Crosse County are paid $8.50/hour, including training.

Anyone who is interested in working should contact their municipal clerk’s office.
