Wisconsin man claims $1 million lottery prize
3 tickets matched all numbers in NC, TX and Puerto Rico
MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Nobody in Wisconsin matched all the winning numbers to win the big Powerball jackpot worth $564 million.
But $1 million isn’t a bad consolation prize.
The Wisconsin Lottery says Glenn Lyon of Delavan bought a ticket at Uncle Bucks in Delavan and matched five numbers, but not the Powerball to win $1 million in Wednesday night’s drawing.
Tickets in North Carolina, Puerto Rico and Texas matched all the winning numbers and will split the huge jackpot. Wednesday’s jackpot was the third-largest in Powerball history.
