Wisconsin man arrested after using Taser on his mom on Mother’s Day
LONE ROCK, Wis. (WKBT) — A Lone Rock, Wis., man was arrested Sunday after using a Taser on his mother, according to Richland County Sheriff’s Department.
Andrew C. Peterson, 22, was arrested on charges of battery, disorderly conduct, bail jumping and possession of an electronic weapon, according to police.
Police say a 43-year-old woman reported that her son became upset with her when he could not find his phone at their shared residence on Mother’s Day. The victim told police Peterson used the electronic weapon on her neck, then left with his girlfriend and young child.
Peterson’s girlfriend, Colleen Parker, 20, is also facing charges of battery and disorderly conduct after police say she admitted to punching the older woman three days prior during a separate disturbance.
