Wisconsin Gov. Evers to unveil budget proposal

MADISON, Wis. (WKBT) – Governor Tony Evers will unveil his new budget proposal Tuesday.
Governor Evers plans to call on the Republican-controlled Legislature to join him in passing a two-year budget to help Wisconsin ecover from the coronavirus pandemic.
Evers planned to pitch his plan to the Legislature as a ‘Badger Bounce Back’ agenda.
State Senator Brad Pfaff says that the pandemic creates challenges for the economy, but Pfaff believe that can change.
“We want to come out of this strong than we went in. And I do believe that we have the opportunity to do this. I think this budget is the first step,” said State Senator Brad Pfaff.
