Wisconsin DNR urges state fair goers to visit exhibit
MADISON, WI (AP) — Department of Natural Resources officials are urging Wisconsin State Fair visitors to stop by the agency’s exhibit.
Dubbed the DNR Park, the exhibit features multiple displays. The list includes a front desk where adults can pick up hunting and fishing licenses and state park stickers and children can join a park scavenger hunt. Smokey’s Schoolhouse features Smokey Bear talking about how to build safe campfires.
The park also features fish tanks, fishing clinics, a groundwater display, an archery tent and a children’s activity tent.
The fair runs through Aug. 11 in West Allis.
