Wisconsin DNR to hold community listening session to answer PFAs

Community members can ask questions about the contamination and long-term solutions.

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) -The Wisconsin DNR will hold a community listening session Thursday to answer questions about PFAs.

The virtual session starts at six in the evening.

The DNR issued an interim, area-wide drinking water advisory for the Town of Campbell.

It came after hundreds of private wells tested positive for the man-made compounds.

PFAs has been linked to infertility, thyroid disease and cancer.

Community members can ask questions about the contamination and long-term solutions.
