Wisconsin DHS deputy secretary Van Dijk retiring

MADISON, Wis. (WKBT) – The Wisconsin Department of Health Services deputy secretary is retiring.

You may have seen Julie Willems Van Dijk during DHS COVID media briefings.

The DHS announced today she is departing Sept. 10.

Van Dijk most recently served as the Director of County Health Rankings and Roadmaps.

She was also the Marathon County Public Health Officer.

Van Dijk will be replaced by Deb Standridge.
