Winona State opens season with dominant home win
Boosted by a home crowd eager to see a Warrior football game for the first time in two years, Winona State football opened the 2021 season with a 47-6 win over Concordia-St. Paul.
Javian Roebuck led the Warriors offense, carrying 24 times for 131 yards and three touchdowns. Quarterback Owen Burke was 13-of-24 for 233 yards and two scores.
