Winona County warns against visiting La Crosse
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Winona County Emergency Management Tuesday warned residents against visiting La Crosse County, citing the recent surge in COVID-19 cases.
“We love our neighbors across the river, but we are advising against traveling to the La Crosse County area, as they are rapidly increasing in COVID-19 cases,” the county said in a Facebook post. “If you must to travel to La Crosse County, make sure to take necessary precautions. Wear your mask, stay physically distant and be sure to wash your hands.”
La Crosse County has reported an average of 116.29 new coronavirus cases per day during the past seven days.
Winona County reminded residents to get tested if they think they may have been exposed to COVID-19 or are feeling symptoms.
