Winona County reports 3 new deaths, 70 COVID-19 cases

WINONA, Minn. (WKBT) — Winona County reported that three people die from COVID-19 Thursday and an additional 70 people tested positive for the virus, according to the Minnesota Department of Health.

The total number of positive COVID-19 cases in Winona County is 2,260 which now includes 25 individuals who have died from COVID-19.

The Winona County Health and Human Services Department stressed the importance of following all guidelines, including wearing a mask over your nose and mouth when outside the home.

Avoid enclosed spaces with groups of people, get tested if you have cold or flu-like symptoms, wash your hands often with soap and water and avoid touching your face.
