Wincraft ramps up production following World Series
WINONA, Minn. (WKBT) — A Winona company was busy Thursday making products for baseball fans in the nation’s capital.
Employees at WinCraft are busy making pennants, pins and other collectibles in Winona.
The busy day follows the Washington Nationals winning the World Series last night.
Right after the game ended, WinCraft staff got to work.
“We bring in a lot of people from New York from the licensors, and they’re always amazed that the little town of Winona Minnesota is producing the product that goes everywhere in the global world for their sports license products,” said Dave Schipper, Vice President of Product Management, WinCraft.
This was Washington D.C.’s first World Series win since 1924.
