Western Technical College students start moving in

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – The first batch of Western Technical College students are moving in Friday.

Unlike previous years, move-in times are staggered over a four-day period to limit the amount of students coming at one time.

Nearly 200 WTC students are moving in to the campus’s residence hall.

The school’s student life coordinator says the residence hall is almost back up to full capacity.

“We have decided to keep a few rooms offline to be used as needed for quarantine or isolation space,” student life coordinator Leah Hoover said. “But we’re really excited to have a much more full and vibrant community this year.”

Classes at Western begin Sept. 7.
