Western student raising funds for flood victims

Western students are raising money for people in need in a creative way.

Students used donations to vote which staff and students would get a pie in the face.

The money raised will go to residents in Coon Valley.

The student life coordinator says events like this are a fun way to give back.

“It’s real whipped cream, as it’s dripping into my mouth. It’s delicious, not my first time being pied in the face but certainly the most memorable,” said Leah Durnin Hoover, Student Life Coordinator at Western Technical College.

Students raised $711.
