Western changing up rules as COVID-19 risk moves to medium
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Western Technical College said Wednesday it is loosening COVID-19 restrictions as the risk falls from high to medium and COVID-19 cases go down regionally.
The college is moving to the medium risk phase of its return to campus plan, which means that services at Welcome Center, which includes Admissions, Cashier, Admissions Coaching, Financial Aid, tours, and program shadows are now available in-person, as well as video conferencing and over the phone.
Several measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 will remain in place, including mask wearing, physical distancing, and self-screening upon arrival. Tours of campus will be limited to two additional household members.
Appointments are encouraged. Hours of operation are Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
