West Salem homicide suspect held on $10,000 cash

Lathan Foster is charged with first degree reckless homicide

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — The suspect of a West Salem homicide is being held behind bars on $10,000 cash.

Officers arrested 23-year-old Lathan Foster in Arkansas. Foster was extradited back to La Crosse and made his first court appearance Monday.

First responders found the victim, Jeremy Pittman, dead on December 31, 2021 in a West Salem home. A judge set Foster’s bond at 10-thousand dollars cash. He will return to court next week.
