Watch Day 1: Todd Kendhammer returns to court for appeal

LA CROSSE (WKBT) — Todd Kendhammer, who was convicted in the 2016 death of his wife, is back in court Monday in front of La Crosse County Circuit Court Judge Todd Bjerke.

A jury convicted him in 2017 of killing his wife Barbara and then trying to cover it up by saying it was caused by a pipe falling off a passing truck and crashing through their car windshield.

Kendhammer is scheduled for three days of evidentiary hearings for his appeal.
