Watch Now: Vote Safe Project tells La Crosse area how to make its voice heard

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — The Vote Safe Project Tuesday shared information on how to safely cast a ballot in the 2020 presidential election.

Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul, former Wisconsin Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen, Wisconsin Elections Commission spokesperson Reid Magney and La Crosse County Clerk Ginny Dankmeyer each spoke at the event, sharing information, answering questions and setting the record straight to make sure citizens who are concerned about their safety while voting in a historic pandemic will be prepared to make their voice heard in the November election.

The event is brought to viewers by Great Rivers United Way and LeaderEthics Wisconsin, as well as media partners including News 8 Now, WXOW, WIZM and the La Crosse Tribune. It is sponsored by the La Crosse League of Women Voters, Valley View Rotary Club, the Rotary Club of La Crosse, La Crosse Area Chamber of Commerce, .be., and the College of Arts, Social Sciences & Humanities at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
