Warmer Temps Ahead For The Weekend

Friday’s Forecast High: 13°F, Tonight’s Forecast Low: 11°F↑

It was a very cold start to this Valentine’s Day with morning lows ranging from the teens to 20s and 30s below zero. Winds have picked up out of the south and will help us warm into the low teens ABOVE zero by later this afternoon. Expect the sunshine to continue.

Winds increase with highs in the low teens.

Gradually increasing clouds tonight ahead of a cold front. Winds will also increase ahead of the front with gusts up to 35mph. Thanks to the strong southerly winds, overnight lows will rise through the teens. A few flurries will be possible as well.

Bundle up if you're headed out to celebrate your Valentine tonight!

Clouds will stick around for Saturday with the chance of a few snow showers or flurries. Winds will be brisk as they switch out of the west, and then lighten up Saturday night. Highs will be in the low 30s.

A little sunshine returns for Sunday. High temps will be in the upper 20s to 30 degrees.

Warmer for the weekend, but a few snowflakes possible.

A more potent system will move in for the start of the new work and school week. Look for a good chance of rain/snow Monday with highs in the mid 30s. Stay tuned this weekend as we fine tune the forecast for Monday.

Turning colder behind that system with highs in the 20s for the middle of the week.

Enjoy the rest of your day! -Michelle Poedel

Rain/snow possible to begin the new work and school week.
