Warm Feet, Warm Hearts donation to benefit people in need in La Crosse

A big donation will help people stay warm this winter.

Area Rotary Clubs donated winter clothing Thursday afternoon to Catholic Charities’ Warming Center in La Crosse.

The donation comes as part of the ‘Warm Feet, Warm Hearts’ clothing drive.

The rotary groups helped collect and donate more than 450 items.

The goal is to help where it’s needed.

“It’s vitally important for the health and safety of our friends and neighbors that everybody has warm clothing to wear. And it’s especially important for people who might be spending a significant amount of time outdoors,” said Sarah Arendt-Beyer, Rotary Club of La Crosse president elect nominee.

This is the 3rd year of the donation drive.
