La Crosse voters prepare for Election Day at Voter Education Event
LA CROSSE (WKBT) — La Crosse’s election officials are helping voters prepare for Election Day.
On Tuesday, the City Clerk hosted a voter education event at the South Side Neighborhood Center.
City Clerk Nikki Elsen says the event is a great opportunity for students and other first-time voters to understand what they need to know ahead of Election Day.
“They may, you know, might want those questions answered before election day, so they’re confident that they’re registered in advance and they’re confident that they have the write photo ID, just so they have those questions answered before November 8 when they go to the polls to cast their ballot,” said Elsen.
Elsen says voters should expect a large turnout.
If you missed your chance to learn about voting Tuesday, call the city clerk’s office with questions.
