La Crosse, Wisconsin officials to discuss voter education
Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul to take part
LA CROSSE COUNTY, Wis. (WKBT) – Election officials from around Wisconsin will discuss voting safety in our area during an upcoming event.
The ‘Vote Safe Project: Your Vote Counts’ event is next Tuesday evening.
Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul, Former Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen, Reid Magney of the Wisconsin Elections Commission and La Crosse County Clerk Ginny Dankmeyer are set to take part.
The live stream is being hosted by Great Rivers United Way, along with community organizations including News 8 Now.
Knowledge will help ensure that our area’s elected officials represent the people that live here.
“Everything that we vote on really matters to the people here so we need to make sure that we have the right information, we can choose the best way to vote and make sure that our vote counts,” said Great Rivers United Way community engagement coordinator Julie Nelson.
The livestream is September 22nd starting at 7.
