Viterbo women’s basketball closes out 2019 with tough loss to Clarke

Viterbo women’s basketball lost to Clarke University 79-55 on Thursday in the team’s final game of 2019.

The V-Hawks struggled offensively against a Crusader team that made the NAIA semifinals a year ago. Viterbo shot just 34 percent from the floor, while Clarke shot 56 percent as a team.

Ambree Schlosser led the V-Hawks with 16 points, while Alyssa Nilssen added 10 points.

The V-Hawks are now 3-8 overall. They resume play Jan. 7.
