Viterbo volleyball beats Embry-Riddle in 4 sets
Viterbo volleyball improved to 2-0 in pool play at nationals with a 3-1 win over Embry-Riddle on Wednesday.
Viterbo took the first two sets before dropping the third, but the V-Hawks came out and hit .515 as a team in the fourth set to pick up the win.
“After that third set I kind of kicked us into gear, kicked our butts a little bit,” senior Rachel Frankowski said. “So we came back and knew we had to step it up. We stepped up our game, made less errors, we were smarter with our play, and it brought everything together.”
The V-Hawks wrap up pool play against #11 Marian Thursday afternoon.
