Viterbo, St. Mary’s Universities sign agreement to provide options for students

Agreement starts in fall 2021 semester

LA CROSSE, Wis./WINONA, Minn. (WKBT) – A pair of local universities are partnering to provide more options for students.

Leaders from Viterbo University in La Crosse and St. Mary’s University in Winona signed the agreement Tuesday afternoon.

The agreement will recognize course work on one campus to count toward certain programs at the other institutions.

Viterbo’s President says staying flexible is what students want.

“Our students today want options as they look to jump start their careers and advance to their next step of their leadership and their service,” said Viterbo University President Glenda Temple.

The agreement goes into effect for the fall semester of 2021.
