Viterbo hosts ‘Clown Camp’

More than 100 of people from all over the world are getting a lesson in clowning around this week at Viterbo University.

The university is once again host to  ‘Clown Camp.’  The world renowned camp is built around learning the ins and outs of being a clown.

With 90 different classes offered throughout the week camp directors say there’s something for everyone, no matter your skill level.

“The participants pick and choose on an hourly basis on which class they want to attend. In the morning, there is a track they can go into. If they’re beginner clowns, there’s a track for them. So, it starts out with make-up and they’re learn a little about character development and costuming,” said camp director Rich Snowberg.

The camp is back after a six year hiatus.

The last camp was held in Singapore back in 2010.
