Viterbo Fine Arts Center lobby dedicated to FSPA
LA CROSSE, Wis. — Viterbo University’s Fine Arts Center is matching a new lobby with a new name.
Viterbo received a donation from the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration to remodel the main lobby of its Fine Arts Center. In honor of the gifts from FSPA to Viterbo and the University’s art programs, the renovated lobby was re-named to ‘Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration Lobby’ in dedication on Monday.
The sisters hope that by continuing to invest in Viterbo’s fine arts, students will continue to find strength through education in the arts.
VP and Treasurer of the FSPA Sister Sue Ernster said, “We FSPA have a rich heritage in supporting the fine arts, as we see them as one avenue of encountering God.”
The Franciscan Sisters began building the arts at Viterbo in 1944, creating The St. Rose College of Music department.
