Viterbo beats Presentation in walk off fashion, 11-10
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT)–A walk off single from Cole Benson capped off what would be a wild day for the V-Hawks, winning 11-10.
Viterbo started the day posting an unanswered 9 runs on the Saints of Presentation College, leading 9-0 headed into the 5th.
Benson recorded 3 RBI on the day, as did Kevin Brandt, with the top of the order contributing most runs on the day.
But that’s when Presentation responded with 5 runs of their own in the 5th, and kept swinging, forcing a 10-10 tie in the bottom of the 9th.
Following the walk off, Viterbo advances to 6-9 on the year, and will conclude their doubleheader with Presentation Monday night.
