Viterbo asks for mask donations for students on campus ahead of fall semester
Donations have already surpassed the initial 600 mask goal
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Viterbo students will have some help to stay healthy this fall.
The University’s Alumni Office on campus is asking graduates to donate masks or materials for masks.
Alumni are already pledging to provide 740 masks.
That already surpasses the initial goal of 600 masks.
The masks are needed ahead of students returning to campus for the fall semester later this month.
The effort is a way for graduates to support students as they continue their educational journey.
“Our real motive is to help keep our students safe and healthy and to have an inspirational note from an alum who has been in their shoes,” said Viterbo University director of alumni engagement Kathy Duerwchter.
The effort will continue through ‘Viterbo Days’ in October.
Details about the project as well as way to help are available on the Viterbo Alumni Association website.
