Viterbo adds new space for veteran students
Military Aligned Student Center gets ribbon cutting ceremony
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Veterans attending Viterbo University have a new space to study.
The university held a ribbon-cutting today inside the Reinhart center for its Military Aligned Student Center.
For veterans getting an education at Viterbo, it offers a space for them to connect with one another.
“We tend to not have as much in common with our 18 to 19-year-old classmates, so it’s good to have a place for us to be able to come,” says Andrew Lindell, an Army Veteran studying at Viterbo.
The space also allows veterans a quiet place to concentrate on studies, something that’s in high demand on campus.
