Viroqua Business Park brings new opportunities to area
VIROQUA, Wis. (WKBT) – Viroqua is making way for new business opportunities.
The city celebrated the opening of its business park on Monday.
Totaling 50 acres, the Viroqua Business Park has space available for light industrial, retail, and commercial development.
A $2.6 million grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration, along with funds from Vernon County and the City of Viroqua made this project a reality.
The city said the business park has the potential to boost the local economy.
“It’s another way that is going to put Viroqua and Vernon County on the map. Not only regionally, but statewide and perhaps even nationally. We’re really looking to bring on some innovative businesses that are looking to make a mark in this part of the state,” said Viroqua City Administrator, Nate Torres.
Torres said Sleepy Hollow Auto Group is the first company to buy up property in the park, where it will be constructing its new Ford Dealership.
