Vikings re-sign K Bailey, lose CB Alexander to Bengals

The Minnesota Vikings announced on their Twitter page Thursday they had re-signed kicker Dan Bailey. ESPN’s Courtney Cronin has cited a source saying the deal is for three years.

Bailey converted 93% of his field goals last season, which was fourth-best in the NFL.

On the defensive side, Minnesota corner Mackensie Alexander is following Trae Waynes to the Cincinnati Bengals. A day after Waynes signed there for three years and $42 million, Alexander signed for one year and $4 million.

Pro Football Focus reports that Alexander was the only defensive back in the league to play over 500 snaps and not miss a single tackle.
