Very Cold & Chilly Day! Skies Clearing Out -Derek Sibley
Temperatures continue to drop into the teens throughout the day, but skies should become mostly sunny.
A cold front brought us very cold Canadian air into our area today. It’s also been very windy so far as we are in between 2 features, low pressure to the east and high pressure to the west causing our winds to be gusty. With the cold air and windy conditions today, this is setting up to be a very chilly day ahead!
Afternoon Planner: Skies Clearing, Temperatures in the Teens & Still Breezy
Skies will continue to clear as we progress through the day, but at the same time our temperatures will continue to drop as low as the teens this afternoon! Winds will remain on the breezy side making things feel chilly.
Tonight’s Forecast: Turning Cloudy, Low Temperature 1F, Calmer Winds
Skies will turn cloudy tonight with lows dropping to the single digits. Winds will settle down between 10-15 mph out of the west.
Next 8 Days
A weak low-pressure system will bring a chance of snow into the area tomorrow. Another system will spread snow across our area on Thursday and Friday. We could finally see nicer conditions in the forecast this weekend and into early next week, as skies are forecast to be mostly sunny.
Have a great rest of the day!
