V-Hawks ready to be back at home following pandemic-shortened season

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT)–The V-Hawks are home for the first time since 2018, after their season was cancelled last year before the team could play in La Crosse.

They says there’s a lot of rust for them to have to shake off after their time away from the game, but that said, they’re coming into their own, and are ready for what this year has in store.

“I’ll tell you what it’s really been a ride for four years,” said Senior Zach Earll.  “Coming in as a freshman, as a local guy I knew where the program was at and how we were doing and each year I felt we’ve gotten a little bit better and this year especially we really feel like we’re clicking and it’s going to be a good year for us so I hope we can put some things together and really give them a run for money.”

The V-Hawks split their double-header with Lakeland Saturday.
