UW System Regents select Jennifer Mnookin as next UW-Madison chancellor

Mnookin will replace Rebecca Blank, who is leaving for Northwestern University

MADISON, Wis. (WKBT) — UW-Madison will have a new chancellor in August.

The Board of Regents unanimously approved Jennifer Mnookin as UW’s next top leader. She has been dean of UCLA’s school of law since 2015.

Mnookin is replacing Rebecca Blank, who is leaving for Northwestern University in Illinois at the end of the school year.

Mnookin will being serving her new role in August.
