UW-La Crosse faculty donate PPE to area hospitals
Masks come from Center for the Arts at UWL
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – More personal protective equipment (PPE) is coming to local hospitals thanks to faculty at a local university.
UW-La Crosse arts and theatre staff are donating the PPE from UWL’s Center for the Arts.
Staff were at the Center this morning gathering the equipment that will be donated.
The equipment would have been used by students while working on projects.
The goal was to help in any way possible.
“I think that we just felt like this is something that we can do no matter how small a drop in the bucket this is, if everyone is doing a small drop in the bucket, then that becomes a bigger drop,” said UW-La Crosse Theater Arts Dept. chair Joe Anderson.
Viterbo University’s theater department has a similar effort to donate equipment.
