UPDATE: Juneau County emergency services are back online
Emergency communications were down for about 4 hours Friday night
MAUSTON, Wis. (WKBT) — The Juneau County emergency services are now back online after a brief blackout Friday night.
After communications went down, 911 officials were asking people to contact either the Vernon or Monroe County Sheriff’s Department with concerns. The Juneau County services are now back online though.
Juneau County is currently experiencing technical difficulties.
Most emergency communication is currently down, meaning that if you have need of emergency services you’ll need to contact a nearby county.
All 911 phone, internet, and fax services are unavailable. The Juneau County Sheriff’s Department says if you have an emergency, you should contact either the Vernon Co. Sheriff’s Department at (608) 637-2040, or Monroe County Sheriff’s Department at (608) 269-8712.
Officials do not know how long it will be before these services come back online.
