U.S. Senate candidate visits West Salem

A U.S. senate candidate is in our area just under two weeks until the midterm elections.

Wisconsin Republican U.S. Senate candidate Leah Vukmir stopped in West Salem Friday.

The GOP candidate stopped at Select Trusses and Lumber.

As election day nears, Vukmir hoped to hear about concerns that people have in Wisconsin.

“I want to know how is government interfering with the business side of things and I want to make sure that we’re not over regulating and causing problems,” said U.S. Senate Leah Vukmir.

Vukmir faces democratic incumbent Tammy Baldwin for the U.S. Senate seat in the November 6th election.
