VIROQUA, Wis. (WKBT) – Sarah Godlewski says the first major policy plan of her campaign focuses on ways to improve life in rural Wisconsin.

Godlewski met with Viroqua’s mayor Tuesday afternoon to discuss her plan.

She says climate change continues to have a concerning impact.

“The last few years we’ve seen erratic weather that has really impacted this community. Particularly when it comes to flash flooding. And what do we need to do, because this is impacting not only everyday lives, but our agriculture and the overall economy,” said U.S. Senate candidate Sarah Godlewski.
