Two injured in Buffalo County motorcycle crash

TOWN OF BUFFALO, Wis. (WKBT) — Two people were injured in a motorcycle crash in Buffalo County.

Authorities responded to a report of a single-motorcycle crash on County Road M in the Town of Buffalo, according to a news release from the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Department.

Responders found two individuals, Matthew Doelle and Heidi Bagniewksi, suffering from significant injuries. The driver Doelle was unresponsive, the release says.

Doelle and Bagniewski were in a field about 30 yards off of the roadway.

Speed and alcohol are believed to be contributing factors in the crash, the release says.

Doelle and Bagniewski were transported to Winona Health for treatment.

The Wisconsin State Patrol, Fountain City Fire Department, Fountain City First Responders, Winona Ambulance and Medlink Air assisted at the scene, the release says.
