‘Two-a-days’: The 2015 Luther Knights

Constant turnover. That’s life in high school athletics.

But Luther in 2015 will experience a major turnover of it’s roster. Just a pair of starters return on defense, and only one starter returns on offense. That’s life when a huge senior class graduates.

For sixth-year head coach Jason Hagedorn, he’ll have a large junior class this season to help fill that void. But he will rely on those few returning starters to help lead the way.

“We’re just looking to see how many guys they can bring along with them. How many guys we can get out there, aggressive on defense. Eleven guys want hats on the ball and those two guys to lead them there.”

Senior linebacker Seth Antoniewicz is one of those players to help mold the young guys on defense into starters.

“From the JV level to Varsity it’s a big difference – a lot louder, a lot more intense, it’s a lot harder. Just showing them what to do, helping them out so they can make the right decisions.”
