Turning Colder For The New Workweek
Sunday’s High: 50°F, Tonight’s Low: 27°F
What a weekend! We had sunshine and highs in the upper 30s to low 40s on Saturday, then highs in the upper 40s to 50 degrees today! While this little taste of spring probably felt great for most, it doesn’t last. Winds will shift out of the N/NW tonight and bring in some cooler air as we head into the new workweek.
Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy tonight, and winds will remain breezy for a time. Temperatures will in the mid 20s by Monday morning. With temps falling below freezing, any of the melting we experienced today will likely refreeze.
Expect sunshine to start your Monday, and to hang around for much of the day. Clouds will build back in Monday afternoon and evening. Temperatures will be colder tomorrow, but still warmer than average with highs in the mid 30s.
Temperatures will get even colder for Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs both days will only be in the low to mid 20s. We’ll be back in the 30s by the weekend.
The 8 day forecast is very quiet overall. There is a chance of a few flurries on Tuesday as a system passes by to our south. Flurries possible again on Friday, then a rain/snow mix for Sunday. However, this is a ways off, so stay tuned!
Have a wonderful night and a great workweek! -Michelle Poedel
